Access Adelaide Access Adelaide (available through Unified portal), is a web-based system that lets you view and amend your University record on-line. You can log on from any computer with Internet access - at home, at work, on campus or at a cafe!
Logon to Access Adelaide and view
- your enrolment details for any term
- your unofficial transcript
- your personal details, including your name, address and telephone numbers
- the fees, charges and payments on your University account
- your exam schedule (available prior to exams)
You can also change your address and telephone details, change your password and drop classes
Austudy Full-time students in the Graduate Diploma/MA program are eligible for Austudy.
Entry Requirements The normal minimum entry requirement for the program is a Bachelor degree, or Honours degree at level IIA or higher (in a relevant field) to enter directly into Masters level, though applicants with non-standard entry qualifications may be considered. Selection of candidates will be conducted jointly by the University and the Art Gallery of South Australia on the basis of academic merit. Applicants unsuccessful in selection for the program of their choice may be offered a place in an alternative Art History program.
Applications for each semester are due by the following dates: Semester 1: Applications will close NO EARLIER than Thursday 3 January 2013 but after that date it may close at short notice. You are encouraged to apply without delay. Semester 2: Applications will close NO EARLIER than Tuesday 11 June 2013 but after that date it may close at short notice. You are encouraged to apply without delay.

Fees Postgraduate Coursework degrees are available on a fee-paying basis. Australian students may be eligible to apply for a FEE-HELP loan (formerly known as PELS). For information on FEE-HELP, please check the Commonwealth Government website.
Fees for Domestic Students Professional Certificate (one course) $4,250 Graduate Certificate (two courses) $8,500 Graduate Diploma (four courses) $17,000 Masters (four courses plus dissertation) $25,500 Self-education expenses may be a tax deduction. To determine your eligibility, check with your tax accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.
It is possible these programs also meet the requirements of your employer's professional development program.

Graduation Once you have completed all requirements of your degree, you should check your student email account for information about Graduation. The University has an automated process which detects eligible graduands; however you will need to ensure an application to graduate has been created for you in Access Adelaide. Scholarships Each year the University offers Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships. They are for applicants who wish to undertake full-time study in a Masters or Doctorate degree by coursework. The funding opportunities in this area are limited and therefore extremely competitive. To be eligible for a postgraduate coursework scholarship you will need to have a First Class Honours degree or equivalent (ie work experience or a Masters degree)
The closing date for applications is 31 October in the year prior to commencement. The value is around $18,000 and the duration is usually 2 years. For further information and application form please go to:the University scholarships website.

Upgrading If you wish to upgrade to a higher level of the same award program, e.g. from the Graduate Certificate in Art History to the Graduate Diploma in Art History, you will need to submit an internal transfer application at the University Contact Centre. You can submit an application at any time of the year and the application will be processed for the next upcoming semester.
