GradStart Applications: Art History

Domestic Students
Applications must be made online through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC). The closing date for entry into a program in semester 1 will close NO EARLIER than Monday 27 February, but after that date it may close at short notice. You are encouraged to apply without delay.

• Go to www.satac.edu.au or click on the link Application on the Art History website
• click on Uni icon
• click on GradStart - either January to June 2012 or July to November 2012
• click on GradSearch
• enter appropriate code
• click on add to my application (this will start the application process)

• 3CM006: Master of Arts (Studies in Art History)
• 3GD003: Graduate Diploma in Art History
• 3GC003: Graduate Certificate in Art History

Process

• Applicant applies through SATAC, pays SATAC application fee ($43) and provides any documentation they are asked for (e.g. transcripts from overseas qualifications held).
• SATAC send the applicant an acknowledgement letter via email upon receipt of the online application.
• SATAC assess the application.
• SATAC send an offer letter (if the applicant is eligible) in the next offer round.
• The Admissions Office load the new offer into the University's system, PeopleSoft.
• The Enrolments Office produce and send welcome letters from the University to new students, which includes their Student ID number and password for enrolment.
• The Faculty follows up the offer by providing the students with specific enrolment advice for the Program they have been offered.

Please note: you can only enrol at the University of Adelaide once you have applied to SATAC and your application has been accepted.

Mid-year transfers
If you are already enrolled in a program and wish to upgrade to a higher program, you are classified as an internal student and you do not need to apply through SATAC (this only applies to mid-year transfers). Go to http://www.adelaide.edu.au/student/admission/midyear/appprocess/ and click on the internal application form link under Current Students. .

International Students
Applications must be made through the University's International Office. Applications forms are available from the University's international students' website at www.international.adelaide.edu.au/future/apply/
