Technical Information for on-line courses
On-line courses include a weekly virtual tutorial, in which student will be able to speak to each other and the tutor.
You will need:
- A good computer with Internet access. We suggest Broadband rather than dial-up for accessing the internet because Broadband will better enable synchronous discussion. Otherwise, there will be a time delay in all verbal exchanges and very slow downloads.
- A headset that you can plug into your computer. The on-line tutorials are designed so you will be able to converse with other class members and the tutor via the head set. The attached brochure shows three equally good headsets that are readily available and inexpensive.
