"The Bachelor of Social Sciences gave me skills in research and analysis to better understand the world around me."

Combining her social sciences knowledge with her radio skills, Gemma's career took a big leap forward when she was recruited as the evening announcer for Nova 91.9. From there she moved into a media and communications co-ordination role for the Greens working alongside Sarah Hanson-Young.

Gemma now works for Novita Children's Services as a communications specialist in the marketing department.
