Arts SA
Arts SA supports the Creative Writing Program at the University of Adelaide. It part-funds the Chair in Creative Writing, and its Executive Director, Greg Mackie OAM, sits on the Creative Writing Program's Advisory Board.

Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership
The University of Adelaide, through the Creative Writing Program, is the host institution for the Asia-Pacific Writing Partnership (APWP), which is an international collaboration of universities, literary organizations and individual writers, scholars, and others interested in researching, supporting or otherwise promoting new writing from or about Asia and the Pacific

- SA Writers' Centre (SAWC)—SA's community-based writers' organisation, part of a national network of Centres. Contact the Centre for:

- Australian Association of Writing Programs (AAWP)—the most important forum in Australia for the discussion of all aspects of teaching creative and professional writing and for debating current theories on creativity and writing.
