Postgraduate Studies in Geographical & Environmental StudiesGeographical & Environmental Studies has the largest research postgraduate cohort of students in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, and one of the largest in any discipline in the University. Candidates come from local and interstate areas as well as from nearly all corners of the globe. Current issues from climate change to global migration and urban development are pressing debates across the planet. Geographical & Environmental Studies is able to offer individual computer facilities in recently refurbished student offices. Our students are a convivial group who enjoy the intellectual challenge of research and debate.
2008 Postgraduate HandbookThe 2008 Postgraduate Handbook is available online. The Handbook provides all the information and links to process and procedure for postgraduate study. Please take the time to peruse the Handbook so that you are aware of the essential paperwork required as well as the contacts you will need to establish as postgraduates proceed through their years of research study.
