Have you ever wondered if you could study a combination of programs not covered in any of the listed double degrees? It is possible! And, by selecting the appropriate courses to enrol in, you can complete both awards in four years of full time study.
You can apply through SATAC for one program, and then apply for the second program the following year. Even better, you may be able to apply internally through the university for your second program in the middle of the year. The university rules for internal transfers, i.e. transferring from one degree to another or applying to enrol in a second degree can be found at http://www.adelaide.edu.au/student/admission/internaltransfers .
Please talk to the Faculty Office for enrolment advice if you are considering this option.

What subjects can I do in a Humanities and Social Sciences degree?
You can download a list of our courses from the Faculty website, and then look up a description of the courses that interest you on Course Planner.
The Bachelor of Arts requires that you complete a major (8 courses in a single area of study) and a minor (6 courses in a single area of study that is different to the major) so that you develop an indepth understanding of a particular field of knowledge. The remainder of the courses you do are free electives to broaden your skills and exposure to different disciplines.
The Faculty's named degrees in International Studies, Media, Development Studies, Social Sciences and Environmental Policy and Management have compulsory core courses, free electives to broaden your horizons, and some of these degrees also include a minor.
