Double Degrees with Humanities and Social SciencesDouble or combined degrees allow you to further expand your knowledge and acquire skills in diverse areas. Double degrees usually require four years of full-time study and you will receive two degree certificates upon completion. Graduates of combined Engineering and Humanities and Social Sciences programs receive one parchment. You will emerge from your studies in an enviable position, having added an extra dimension to your employment potential. These double degree combinations can be completed in 4 years:

Are there any other combinations I can take?You can choose to undertake a combination of programs not covered in any of the arrangements listed above. You apply through SATAC for entry to a single degree, and when you come to enrol, you enrol in the compulsory courses required for both the first and your intended second degree. Then the following year you apply for the second degree through SATAC. A series of combined degrees with Engineering are available and can be completed in 5 years:

The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Media, Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Management, Bachelor of Social Sciences, Bachelor of Development Studies or Bachelor of International Studies can also be combined with any of the following programs, and be completed in four years:
Students who wish to undertake any of these concurrent degrees and complete them in the minimum time need to choose their courses carefully to ensure they fulfil the requirements of both programs. |
